Most teenagers do not pay attention to news ,but it is beneficial to pay attention to current events, local or globally. So why should we keep up to date and read about current events? It is important to be aware of what is going on in the world around us because our world in changing every day, change in the government, environment etc. Some of these events may even impact you in someway. Being aware of what is going on will help us to better understand why some things are happening and the way they are. Even though there may not be any situations that you see are affecting you personally, you have to keep in mind that everything in this world is connected. Something that happens away from Canada can still affect Canada and vice versa. Our world is a busy world, so understanding what is going on in the world, will help you to understand what is going on in Canada.
